In order to better understand the

quality of these products, it helps if

we explain the materials used :

Our bowls and baths are handcrafted from
hammered stainless steel by skilled traditional

crafts men and women. Made of 18/8 stainless

steel comprising of 18% chromium and 8% nickel,

also known as 302 or 304 grade stainless steel.

The name stainless steel originates from the fact

that it does not stain, corrode or rust as easily
as ordinary steel. Therefore for this very reason
it is used for its corrosion resistant properties
in kitchens and bathrooms. Making our 304
series ideal for the home environment.

Adding nickel to stainless steel in sufficient
amounts, changes the microstructure to “austenite”.

Some of the features of austenitic stainless

                           steels include:

        . High strength
        .
Long life cycle

                            . Aesthetic appeal

        . Excellent corrosion resistance
. Hygienic with ease of cleaning

. High and low temperature resistance

The durability and corrosion resistance of stainless steel

means it will out last many similar products made from

                            alternative materials.
